Mirall

Mirall

DESCRIPTION

Mirall is a new functional drinks brand created as a more considered alternative to the conventional soft drinks people usually choose when meeting friends, sharing a meal, or spending an afternoon together. Developed as an entrepreneurial project by Esther Navarro, the brand is aimed at an urban audience seeking a realistic balance between wellbeing and enjoyment. Rather than presenting itself as a perfect health solution, Mirall offers a more nutritious and carefully crafted option for social occasions, with the elevated feel of choosing a speciality beer at a bar or restaurant. I defined the brand’s positioning, strategy, and tone of voice around an honest, relaxed, and guilt-free approach to wellbeing. The name draws from "mirall", the Valencian word for “mirror”, while also echoing /mirai/, the Japanese word for “future”. This dual meaning helped shape a brand centred on self-awareness, optimism, and a more positive way of taking care of yourself. From this foundation, I designed the logo, visual identity, and packaging system. The colour palette and graphic language reference Mirall’s Mediterranean roots, but avoid the loud and highly saturated codes commonly found in the soft drinks category. Instead, the identity uses a more restrained and sophisticated approach to create a premium, contemporary brand that still feels warm, social, and approachable.
